Pray and Support The Victims of the Dar es Salaam Floads

The people of Dar es Salaam City in Tanzania ,especially those who used to live in basin areas have come into big dilema and missing what then they can start for their new living after the fload which is going on in some ourskirts on the city to cover their houses and all their properties.

Soome have been reported died and although many have been rescued but still the exercise is seemed to big somehow tough as for many they don`t have a picture of what their tommorrow will be after missing alot of their properties including means for life.

The government and other people are pushing forward the efforts to resolve the tragedy but still more supports is and will be needed from other sources to help these people and badly enough is the metrology authority in the country have warmed of the heavy rain to continue for some time before the situation return to normal.

You as my brother and sister where ever you are and what ever you can do please don`t hesitate to do as to help the victims in the means and position you can.

We as the Church are doing our part to send our supports and you can do your part by joing us to reach these victims and by doing so you will be working with us by using such these time to demonstrate the love of Christ to the people who don`t know yet about Jesus and even using such this moment to encourage your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who might be affected by the situation.

It`s The Time For Zanzibar To Know Jesus

Dear brother and sister,

If you are person who did not hear in your life time anything about Zanzibar Islands regarding religious history and background and other history regarding colonial time and slavery time then it can look simple to hear today something very special the Lord is doing in these Islands for His amazing glory through the Gospel of peace.

Brother if you are a person who is today becoming to know something about Zanzibar Islands and what the divine plan dear Lord Jesus fore-had for Zanzibar and its people then you are now have to stand to join us pray and to everything the Lord will direct you to do as to contribute for Gospel campaign to bring up this divinely Vision of "ZANZIBAR FOR JESUS"

My dear if you think you are to stand like a normal viewer of what God is doing into this Islands Zanzibar then I would like to tell you that God has many people to be used to accomplish what He wants to accomplish in His due time.

Just watch this video to see what happen to past few weeks Crusade in Zanzibar and suggest what more do you think to be done to make it even more better for God`s glory.

What the Church is doing in Zanzibar Islands

Come in prayers with us
The body of Christ in the islands of Zanzibar and Pemba is gaining a thrust. It’s been a wonderful opportunity that in the month of May I was privileged to visit, preach, teach and experience a good time of fellowship with our fellow believers in Zanzibar.

During the visit I met with the leadership of some of the churches and got to exchange ideas and was much strengthened from the testimonies of what God has been doing in and through them and the mandate which God has given them as his representatives in the midst of Islands Muslims.

Statistics shows that there are 19 charismatic churches in Zanzibar. These 19 churches entails denominations like EAGT, TAG, FPCT, KLPT, DEEPER LIFE, PEFA and other ministries. In addition with that there are projects for children schools,public evangelism and others.

Many churches so far have been either burnt or stopped from conducting their services or demolished.
It was a good thing when I was there to witness leaders from different denominations coming together for prayer and harmony.

Putting the fact that more churches have been built, and the number of Christians is increasing, the Island Church is much in need of the five fold ministries and finances right now.

There is a great need for leadership empowerment, both spiritually and in finances, and training for children and youth ministries are necessary.

Together in Christ we can make it comes true

The Long Way The Church Was And Is to Go

Zanzibar Island is the informal designation for the Islands of Unguja and Pemba situated in the Indian Ocean.

However during the Age of Exploration ,in 1498 the Portuguese Empire was the first European power to gain control of Zanzibar, and kept it for nearly 200 years until in 1698 Zanzibar fell under the control of the Sultanate of Oman and obviously ( build the Mosque of Allah is believed by the Islam so ever influenced the mode of belief of the entire generations of the Zanzibaris until today ).

Muslim traders from the Persian Gulf had settled through southern hemisphere of Unguja early in the 10th century after monsoon winds propelled them through the Gulf of Aden and Somalia. Zanzibar archipelago united with Tanganyika to form the present day Tanzania in 1964.

The rise of the minority Christian community relies on different means of their introductory causes ,as Christianity has diverse rich forms of denominations therefore there were some denominations which were being introduced in Zanzibar through historical factors like Colonialism period whereby the Colonial empires which were established in the forms of the national denominations were easily made their side by spreading their belief such of these are Anglican Christians through British Empire and Roman Catholic through Portuguese, Lutheran through German Empires .

How ever in 1974 there were other Christian Churches were introduced in Zanzibar after Independence of Zanzibar then the United Republic of Tanzania such these Churches were the Lutheran Christians and Evangelical Christians (Pentecostal) etc.

Praise God, as from the Church Rev.Leonard Masasa was pastoring were rose men who decided to go out and established new churches of different denominations such as Elim Pentecost, Tanzania Assemblies of God, Zanzibar Pentecostal Church, Free Pentecostal, and many other churches have been established in Zanzibar Islands.

In 1995 Rev.Leonard left the church he used to pastor since 1984 and established a new Church which "The Evangelistic Assemblies of God Zanzibar (EAGZ)" and was started until this day he is pastoring that Church.

The EAGZ Church has succeeded by the grace of God to open other Churches.How ever more efforts is done as to equip these churches and also pray hard to find up some means we can do more in other places, if God may open doors.

The recent research have shows that Islam religion has 95.% followed by Hindus and others 2.05% ,Catholic and Anglican 1.% ,Lutheran 0.01%, Evangelicals 0.05% of all people.

Please when you visit the Islands of Zanzibar feel free to visit us too and as you are still afar we therefore requesting your fervent and effective prayers so that this work may go forward and so many Zanzibaris could find their chance to know and believe in Jesus Christ...Amen.

EAGZ Church Elders (Mother Church)

From left is Mrs.Violet and the second one is Mr.Alex Mbisse.They are one of our Church Elders at our Mother Church.They labor in the Lord to support our senoir Pastor Rev.Leonard Z.Masasa and his wife Christina to feed and tend the Sheeps and lambs of Christ as to grow into the manner of the Lord according to the Gospel,and also to work as the example of demonstrations of obedience to God`s ways according to Jesus Christ.You can be part of them by getting a time to encourage them and even supporting them through prayers even material things because they labor for Jesus as to make Zanzibar people to know and accept Jesus as they Lord and Savior.We are vision for ZANZIBAR FOR JESUS.

EAGZ Church in Fuoni Village

Pastor Paul Makungu and his wife Pauline.They have been pastoring a Church in a village called Fuoni,but in the series of three years their Church was also being set into blaze by the islamic extremists who were unhappy of the introduction of Christianity in the area and were trying to make anything they could to stop the Work of the Kingdom of God not to reach and being spread into the entire villages.Until now they are 27 members who were attending the Church services but after the burning of their Church they are found them selves have to walk long way to attend the services to the Mother Church.God is good as they have been reported that there is a plot which is sold seven milion equal to $5,000.You can join them by sending your donation to help them have another new and safely Church building.We are trying to make our donations too but the task is so bigger than our positions and if we will continue our selves then it will take very long time to complete solve the current problems and the needs of our Daughter Churches.Please join us to return the healing and salvation to the people of Fuoni.
